This is something Nancy has always wanted to do – see the tulips in Holland. Of all the time we / she have spent in the Netherlands, it has never been during tulip season (April to mid-May). The bike tour routed us through the tulip fields and past a few tulip gardens via a 180km (~60km/day) bike trek from Alkmaar to Schagen to Dan Helder and then back to Alkmaar.
Day 1 – Alkmaar to Schagen
Day 2 – Schagen to Dan Helder
Day 3 – Dan Helder to Alkmaar

Looks like your trip is going well. Anytime you want to see tulips again, please come to visit us in late April, early May. We have tulips just like that!
